Tim Potter, CPA

Managing Director

Tim is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of all client services and serves as a subject matter expert in hedge accounting, financial instrument valuation, and technology optimization.  In addition, he is responsible for establishing best practices and maintaining a best-in-class system of internal controls, along with an active role on the HedgeStar leadership team on developing strategy and guiding the direction of the company. Tim’s previous professional experience includes positions with PwC, TCF Bank, and Pine River Capital Management.

Education

Bachelor of Arts – Accounting and Business Administration-Financial Planning from the University of Jamestown. 
Masters of Science in Accountancy from The University of St. Thomas – Opus College of Business
CPA accreditation (MN) in 2008
